Here's to A Glass of Red! A special limited edition festive fragrance of mulled wine. Perfect as an advent aroma, it is full to the brim with the well-loved spicy aroma ready to bring out the joys of Christmas. Adding to the festive ambiance is the gentle crackling sound of the wood wick as it burns the rapeseed wax candle. Please note that the cheery chubby robin is not available for rehoming and so does not come with the candle.  

Each candle is carefully hand poured by Dodo and presented in a clear square glass jar with a natural bamboo lid handmade by Dodo. Measuring approximately 10cm cubed, you can expect approximately 50+ hours burn time from this 220g candle.  

Rapeseed wax is a very environmentally friendly choice and the natural fragrance oil used is vegan and animal cruelty free. This means that whilst you are relaxing to the scent of a Dodo Crafts candle, you can also relax knowing that you are indulging responsibly.

Benefits of Rapeseed Wax

There are many benefits of using rapeseed wax. Some of the reasons are listed below with more information available at About Dodo Crafts

A Glass of Red smells of festive spicy scent of mulled wine. It releases:

~ Top notes of red grape and crisp apple
~ Mid notes of raspberry, blackberry, clove bud and sparkling cinnamon
~ Base notes of all spice, nutmeg and vanilla

How To Care For Your Candle

Please note that since the candle is made from 100% rapeseed wax, and therefore 100% natural, the wax can appear to have a white crystallisation effect. This is normal and will change depending on temperature; but most importantly, it will not affect the performance of your candle.

A few notes on safely using your candle and getting the most out of it:

~ Protect your surface by placing the candle on a heat-protected surface before lighting
~ Trim the wick, if necessary, to ¼ inch before lighting
~ Allow wax to pool to the edges of the glass before snuffing to avoid tunnelling
~ Allow candle to burn for no more than three hours at a time
~ Safely extinguish the candle by using a snuffer
~ Keep the candle away from flammable items
~ Do not burn in a draught
~ Do not move a burning candle or recently snuffed candle where wax is still melted
~ Do not touch a lit or recently snuffed candle as it may be hot
~ Replace the lid on your candle once the wax has hardened
